Hoover REACT Whole Home Cordless Advantage Stick Vacuum Review

Vacuuming is something I do several times a day. Between the dog, the husbeast and the spawns, I can never have a clean floor. There’s always crumbs, paper scraps, dirt and whatever else all over every single floor.

With the REACT Whole Home Cordless Advantage Stick Vacuum, if they make a mess in one area, I can easily vacuum that area without having to struggle with a cord, kids tripping and unplugging the vacuum while I have it running. I love that the battery charges rather quickly, actually quicker than what the instructions and packaging said.

While I cannot vacuum an entire room with it, it still does an amazing job on smaller messes, as long as there are no bigger pieces to vacuum. I found anything bigger than a nickle does not get sucked up. I feel like it just doesn’t clean bigger spaces as well as other vacuums personally.

The wall mount is very weird. While it was easy to install, it does not sit flush against the wall no matter what we do. Also, there’s only one bracket mount for the attachments, yet there’s two brackets for four attachments – two each. I could not for the life of me figure out where the other one went so it sits on the table by the charger.

The canister is easy to empty, and the vacuum its self is easy to take apart and access the filter to clean. I’m highly impressed with how light weight this vacuum is, as my kids find it easy to carry and use which in the end helps me out with cleaning.

All in all, its not a horrible vacuum. It’s not ideal for whole homes, homes with lots of big messes, and crazy kids. I love using it for curtains and small spaces such as under the couch and tv stand.
